Our menu is guided by the seasons and shaped by the ingredients available from our own land, local farmers, fishermen, and producers. We focus on fresh, organic vegetables and herbs, complemented by carefully selected meat or fish to create balanced and nourishing meals.
Vegetables take a central role on every plate, with dishes changing regularly to reflect what is being harvested from our orchard, vegetable and herbal garden, and farms nearby. Whether you prefer vegan, vegetarian, meat, or fish options, our kitchen offers thoughtful choices to suit a variety of preferences.
*Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in every stay, alongside an all-day offering of fresh drinks and organic refreshements.

OUR CHEF
Meet Chef Hilário Gaspar Carvalho, the culinary heart of Quinta Filippa. His love for food began at just five years old, helping his parents with pastry. He later studied cooking and pastry in Leiria and continued learning through hands-on experience in kitchens across Lisbon, including three years with the José Avillez group. There, working as a pastry sous-chef, he developed a deeper understanding of the kitchen and discovered his passion for savory cooking.
Chef Hilário's culinary philosophy is rooted in a respect for exceptional, fresh produce. He believes in minimal intervention, allowing the natural quality of local ingredients to shine through in his dishes. His aim is to create plates that are infused with care, respect for their components, textures, and, above all, flavor.
